I was unhappy with the way I looked for many years. Although I have lost a lot of weight with Ingrid so far, Ingrid has shown me many things to help me love myself along the way, not wait until I reach a particular scale weight (in fact she rarely weighs me).

Personally, I liked the chapter on “faking it” and being someone else for a period of time to get stuff done and as always there are a lot of exercises to do. This was the major thing Ingrid told me 2 years ago – that I would be doing a lot of mental work to improve my sense of self-worth.

Ingrid has been really helpful with my confidence. I left a relationship because my partner of several years cheated. Normally I would have just taken him back. But this time, after being under Ingrid for 2 years I had the courage to follow through on the break-up because I deserve more. This eBook will help you find your confidence as well.

You think all this may not have a lot to do with fitness but I now know better. I highly recommend this eBook. It’s really really helpful.”

I don’t understand the $1, I would have paid $50 for this. So well written and helpful, loved it.

“At $1 you can’t go wrong. This eBook was fabulous. So much better than I expected. It lifted my spirits within 5 minutes and I could see what Ingrid was getting at with all of the exercises she had the reader do. I had never heard of the “me tree” and I loved it – it made so much sense.

If you are down on your body Ingrid provides so much insight and wisdom with how to deal with it that I was very impressed with the read. So much so I read it all in one sitting. And yes I did what she asked and did the two tasks at the end. Confronting? Yes. Therapeutic? Definitely. Worth it? 100%

  4. Alana Thomson

AS a PT and Coach myself, I’ve gotta say that I am a BIG Ingrid fan. She really has an amazing ability to write as if she is talking specifically to you – and this little gem is no different.

Body Image is such a big topic, and Ingrid has tackled it with her usual grace, empathy, knowledge, tough love and humour.

There are many things to love in this ridiculously affordable eBook. The “me tree” is a beautiful and clever way of understanding your self judgement system and “writing a letter from your body to you” is a really powerful exercise, and something you probably haven’t thought of before. And yes, she gives plenty of guidance on how to do it.

Learn as much as you can from Ingrid .. she is the real deal and definitely knows what she is talking about.

Alana thanks so much for your review. Especially when I read your FB posts and think “gee she has a way with words” and your always sending out good messages and information yourself. I appreciate the peer review.

  5. Maddy Lange

Ingrid has a unique ability to both slap you and applaud you. Fabulous read.

  6. Carmen Lange

This eBook is ridicuously priced – I don’t understand it. Great read and empowering.

  7. Kathy Bailey

This great little eBook explores one simple but imperative idea: Fitness isn’t just a physical game—it’s also a mental one, too. Ingrid shares strategies for sticking with goals and staying challenged over time when your self-image is crap and affecting your “game”.

Though this book was written with athletes in mind, it reads like a pep talk that would motivate anyone to tackle their long-time self-image issues.
