Powerlifting Training

In the last few years, powerlifting has exploded as a sport. I have worked hard and consistently enough to be able to excel, having won 23 competitions to date, being undefeated but most of all, had the benefits of some wonderful coaching myself. Therefore I am extremely well equipped to dispense performance boosting powerlifting training and coaching to both male and female lifters wanting to dramatically increase their strength and power. I currently hold 6 world records in both the Open and Masters classes in 2 different weight classes. The only female to do so.

My expertise in the technicalities of lifting has improved dramatically. Being a qualified teacher, I am able to find ways and cues that strike resonance in every client. I place a strong emphasis on technique and mobility work in my coaching. I study and learn the lifting style of my clients, I have attention to detail, and will convey messages individually to produce your best results.

I am very proud to be one of two Recomp qualified assessors. Meaning that coaches who wish to gain their Recomp certificate can have their strength tests assessed by me. I am also a qualified referee with both CAPO and GPC. I believe that a strength coach must have lifted heavy to teach clients how to lift heavy.

Ingrid is so passionate about powerlifting and being one of the best lifters and coaches in Australia that she recently invested in a competition bench press and monolift for Body Conquest Training Studio, Geelong, as well as the proper Texas deadlift bar so you can train for your powerlifting event under appropriate competition equipment.

1-on-1 Sessions

A 1-on-1 technique session is a fantastic way to begin your journey to greater strength, through improved efficiency in movement patterns and mental cues. In a technique session with Ingrid, the safest, most efficient technique will be covered on the 3 power-lifts – squat, bench press and deadlift. Alternatively, this can be tailored to focus on an individual lift, should you choose to.

Online Coaching

Online coaching is a wonderful and comprehensive alternative to in-person coaching. Coaching plans can be tailored for any goal, with a key technical focus on the 3 power-lifts – squat, bench press and deadlift. We have clients from all over Australia, as well as internationally so distance is not a problem.
